Why use compostable dog poop bags.

Adorable pug in a grey hoodie in front of a yellow backdrop with a light bulb in a thought bubble thinking about dog poop bags and composting.

Think about this.
Let’s say you have 1 dog. You pick up 2 dog poops a day. That’s 730 plastic bags in landfill every year.

Now think about this.
There’s 4.8 million dogs in Australia. That’s over 3.5 billion plastic bags going into landfill. Every. Year. (Give or take, as some of those dogs will be on farms etc, but you get the point…)

If we can divert even a portion of those plastic bags from landfill, why wouldn’t we try.

Compostable dog poop bags. Yes, please.
Jerry Bags are totally compostable poop bags. Depending on conditions (we’re talking heat), they’ll be gone in 3-6 months. They completely decompose into water, carbon dioxide and organic matter - no toxic microplastics or other harmful substances hanging around for our fish and wildlife to eat. Even if you don’t put Jerry Bags into a compost bin, they’ll break down. Woof!
